The Best Romantic Movies to Watch In Bed This V-Day

Whether you're single or just want to appreciate great rom-com history on the day of love - these are great movies to curl up on the bed with, surrounded by luxury sheets and a nice soft blanket, chocolates, and red wine.

Anything by Nora Ephron

(Except Heartburn for obvious reasons.) We're thinking specifically classics like When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless In Seattle, and You've Got Mail. Ephron was the master of shmaltzy romances, including cheerful soundtracks, beautiful settings, and captivating leading men to match Meg Ryan's adorableness.

The Notebook

Do we need to say more? If you watch this and don't cry you have no heart! Featuring an incredible storyline, gorgeous period fashion, and of course, Ryan Gosling, this movie is the tear-jerker that you and your hubby (if he's there) will be sobbing all over.

Romeo + Juliet

A young Leo and Claire Daines plus elaborate sets by Baz Lurhmann = unequivocally (in our opinion) the best version of this Shakespearean classic.

Titanic is, of course, another great 90s classic if you're looking to have a Leo marathon.

Casablanca

If you're a fan of the classics there's no better option than Casablanca.  Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman kiss extravagantly and throw around instant one-liners. You can even watch this guilt-free as it's an important part of cinematic history.

Two Weeks Notice

A more recent, yet still iconic pairing, Sandra Bullock is an ethical, hard-nosed lawyer against Hugh Grant as the loveable and foppish billionaire. A slow burn romance, this is an opposites attract rom-com with witty banter and the beautiful backdrop of New York City to steal our hearts.
