Quilts Bedding tends to be used in layers that begin with sheets and move upward and outward to the blankets or quilts. Many people use their quilts as one of the outermost layers and this is the reason that they are found in some of the warmest materials that include wool, down or feathers, microfibre, and cotton. To protect quilts from wear or the potential for staining many people use covers that give a quilt a decorative look too.
